Microsoft announces executive reshuffling at its MSN Live Search unit
Yesterday, Microsoft announced an executive reshuffling that includes bringing Brad
Goldberg, a marketing GM from the Windows division, into the Windows Live Search group.
On Monday, Blake Irving, another Windows Live Search corporate v.p., told others at the
company that he plans to retire later in 2007.

Google's copyright violation lawsuits are a pain in the neck
The copyright battles came to a head last month when Viacom, after unsuccessful negotiations
with YouTube, ordered the company to remove more than 100,000 copyrighted clips from its site,
including popular snippets of "Chappelle's Show" and "The Colbert Report." Just a few days
later, it struck a content-sharing deal with rival Joost. The move underscored the tension
between YouTube and the content companies as they try to find common ground.
