MTV and search engine Baidu sign deal to offer streaming video in China
MTV Networks, a unit of Viacom, controls 133 TV and video channels worldwide, including
Nickelodeon and Comedy Central, as well as music video channels. MTV claims that its main channel
in China and Hong Kong is seen in 13.1 million households, and some original programming is
received by 175 million households.

Google: innovators need to be challenged as well as supported
Trossman of ThinkDynamics called upon organizations to create a sharing and collaborative
environment. He said one way to do this is to open up a portal where developers can exchange
ideas and discover opportunities to join a project that might appeal to them. Overall,
panelists also emphasized that innovation must be made a fun thing and should be well
integrated into a company's culture. Innovators, they said, need to be challenged as well as
supported, and money is not the only reward.

Google increases revenue leverage, where Yahoo loses a greater percentage of its market
share. Yahoo may be a great company and may continue to throw off huge amounts of cash. But
the company's current problems shouldn't be blamed on the housing bubble any more than say,
bad weather.
