What can cause an SEO disaster?
SEO disasters generally fall into 3 categories:
- Blocking content from getting indexed. There are many changes that can cause that to happen. Robots.txt changes, use of meta-robots tag, use of canonical, no-follow links or even the deleting links.
- Changes to content – Title changes, header changes, removal of text or language changes can all have significant impact on the way Google views and ranks a page. These changes could be positive or extremely negative.
- Technical issues – HTTP errors, redirects, server response time, Ajax implementations can all potential cause serious issues.
We will shortly post a new faq detailed explanations of all the changes we check for and why they are important!
